I don’t have any time to comment, but Feministe’s article on the sisterhood of the white, the pretty, and the thin is definitely a worthwhile read. I’ve never liked the idea of “going Greek” to begin with, but the thought of “reorganizing” a sorority into a real-life Barbie dollhouse at the expense of the not-so-pretty girls is just repulsive.
